Swasthya Kutumbam Yojana Vijayawada – Tata Trust Health Cards Distributed
The MP of Vijayawada, Kesineni Srinivas distributes the tata trust health cards to the people belonging to the district of Vijaya wada which is located in the state of Andra Pradesh. The tata trust health cards are originally operated under Swastha Kutumbam Yojana. Overall 59 cards are been initially distributed to the people who are the recipient for availing such cards. It is been discussed that 4000 tata trust health cards are going to be distributed at the initial stage of the scheme for the well-being of the people. As there is a huge epidemic in India of many diseases affecting people and causing life threatening sickness all over India. Such scheme will minimise the epidemic by trying to give the medical facilities for the people who are needy and don’t have much income in the family.
- The feature of Swastha Kutumbam Yojana Vijayawada- Health cards:-
- It is been observed that after the first phase over two lakh health cards are going to be given to the recipient who is availing such scheme. It is been estimated that 265 villages will be getting these health cards for their betterment and development of the rural areas.
- According to the research the 85 percent of the population are suffering from lack of medical facilities to treat their sickness and thus the diseases are not been contained and spreads through the whole region. This scheme will try to reach as many people to give them a helping hand to treat their life threatening sicknesses.
- This scheme has the benefit of using this health cards more than 80 hospitals with all the services provided without any cost borne in mind. These hospitals are under the radar of Swastha Kutumba Yojana. They are covering most of the hospitals in and around the region so that the people don’t have to travel out of the village or state to get the right medical facilities.
- Many people in India go out of the country to get the right medical treatment to cure their illness but from recent rise in development people don’t have the need now to travel outside country. But people have to travel out of state to treat their illness so this scheme will help such people to get their check up done free of cost in their region itself.

Swastha Kutumba Scheme has been launched by Tata trust which is Health insurance scheme targeting especially the rural areas. Tata trust will be paying the premium for this scheme that they have co-launched for the duration from 3rd Dec 2016 to 30th Nov 2017. Swastha Kutumbam is mainly founded with a focus on health coverage of the people who are in need of this scheme. The scheme is available for One million residents living in 265 villages in the district of Vijayawada located in Andra Pradesh.

Health insurance scheme will cover up the diseases like dengue, malaria, tuberculosis, jaundice and much more. As this is been organised by the state government will provide all the medical facilities. Tiruvuru, Jaggaiahpeta and mylavaram are the places where the selected hospitals will be accepting the health card.
The people who have the health card will have to just pay 1 rupee as the registration fee or a renewal fee and rest all the medical facilities will be free of cost. The recipient of such scheme will have to the extent their health card period to avail this scheme every year. Indeed this scheme will provide and help remove all the barriers for the people to get the medical facility. Such scheme will improve the health of the people and also decreases the epidemic of having a low count of hospitals in India and provide free of cost treatment to the people of Vijayawada district in Andhra Pradesh. This is just a start in improving the economy of the country in some time it will spread throughout the country and the rate of sickness and poverty in India will slowly try to decrease over the time.
