During the period 2012 to 2013, the rasool has scored the average runs of 594 from playing 7 matches at an average of 54. He also took 33 wickets at an average of 18. His amazing performance was rewarded and let him to include in the India A for playing the one day match with England. With this played, he became the first cricketer to be selected from the Kashmir for India A to play.
In the year of 2013, the rasool has signed up with the IPL contract in the Pune Warriors for playing in the season of February 2013. He got the next chance to play IPL match with the Mumbai Indians in the May of same year. During this Ranji Trophy, he has scored of 663 runs with three half centuries and two centuries at an average of 51 and also took 27 wickets from 9 matches.
The year of 2014 he played more than the couple of matches in the tournament of Indian cricket league conducted by the BCCI, in that he manages to took the Indian star batsmen Yuvaraj’s wicket and scored some decent runs under his belt.
