Kritika Kamra is an Indian television actress who rose to fame with the show ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’. She began acting from a very young age and her innocent appeal was highly appreciated by all viewers which contributed to her fame. Although she began her career with the K-serials, she did not just stick to that and she went ahead and tried on many different things. Her last onscreen presence that was liked by the audience was ‘Gumrah’, which she hosted with Karan Kundra. Rumors alerted that she and Karan were dating however, proving all those rumors wrong, she has now moved on with her life.

She was born in a small town in Madhya Pradesh in the year 1988. She completed her higher secondary education from Delhi Public School after moving to New Delhi. Her father is a doctor and her mother is also a working woman but her field is unknown.

From childhood itself, Kritika was very fond of dancing and singing. In fact she loved to collect music albums. She claims that she is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan and she has gone on to claim on several occasions that he is her one and only crush.

Krittika claims that she is very friendly to her parents and that her parents were very supportive of her acting career. She has won millions of fans across the country. She was trying her luck in the Indian television industry when she was spotted by Balaji Telefilms for ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’.

Professional bio

Her first serial was ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar’ but she got recognized only when she played the leading lady in ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’. Apart from that she also played the role of Prateeksha in the series ‘Pyaar Ka Bandhan’. From there she went on to become a participant of a dance reality show Jhalaak Dikhla Jaa 7. However fate had its turn and she had to come back to play the much loved ‘Arohi’ in ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai -2’.

Then came along her way the much fresh concept of ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ which aired on Sony channel and audiences loved her performance in this series as well. Kritika Kamra is a well known Balaji Telefilms actress and later on we saw her do a cameo in ‘The Serial’ of the production house on Channel V. In 2014 she featured in MTV Webbed and from then onwards she went on to do Reporters in 2015.

Education

Kritika was studying in NIFT and she had to leave her graduation mid way because she got offered ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’. However, she has always maintained that she does want to get back to education whenever she gets the chance to. It seems like the time has become because currently she is on her way to complete her graduation in arts from a Mumbai college.

The latest rumors surround her being back with her ex boyfriend Karan Kundra. The duo has been spotted at events together but unlike the previous times, they have cleared the air about it. They have said that they are just friends who happen to have common friends and that they are not together or getting back together at any time.

She was also in the news for slapping Rajeev Khandelwal not so long ago. Abp News reported that while shooting Rajeev Khandelwal came very close to her and was about to kiss her. Not knowing what to do Kritika Kamra stopped him with a slap on face.

Relationship Status

She started dating her then co-actor Karan Kundra while she was doing ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’ with him. The show rose to great heights and fans were shipping the two. The show got an extended season for the same reason – and thus it aired from 2009 to 2011. However the duo parted ways soon after the shoot ended and since then they have not been together.

In the middle of this, she was rumored to have been dating Siddharth Bijpuria. However, none of them have come on press to back such claims. But later she apparently split with Siddharth and currently she is single.
