Free Health Checkup Scheme in Punjab

People above the age of 30 are prone to get the diseases and therefore the Punjab government has come up with the scheme that indicates the medical facilities for the people who are above the age of 30. The Preventive Health Check-up programme (FAPHC) has decided to provide the free heath check up on an annual basis for the people with the age above the age of 30. The state government has decided to plan that an initiative should be taken by the expert group which will be lead by the health advisor Dr. Dr Rajesh Kumar and K.K Talwar of PGIMER.

According to this particular scheme the state government will provide the opportunities for the aged people more than 30 years will be screened and based on the screening the treatment will be based on physical health which will look at the people whether they are having the diseases like anemia, kidney, diabetes or hypertension etc. and if anyone is found with such disorder then he or she will be treated with at the preliminary stage thus one can have better health under this scheme.

Steps taken by the government

These are the following steps that the government has taken to have better utility of the schemes and the steps are listed in the points given below:

  • Better health centers across the state of Punjab.
  • More numbers of doctors are appointed to get the scheme active.
  • Number diagnoses centers are have been established at this place.
  • People are made more aware with the medical camps.
  • Every Saturday the affected people are called for exercises and medications are provided to them.

Objectives of this scheme

The schemes have provided lot of advantages for the people of this particular state. Therefore these are the objectives that can not only help the people of this state but also can reduce the mortality rate at this particular state under this particular government. The objectives are listed as follows:

  • The main purpose of the scheme is to control few diseases which detects in the early period of the disease. By introducing this scheme, early diagnosis can possible and some of the complicated problems will solve through this treatment. As a result people can get better opportunity to treatment their disease and they can the important life.
  • Man is mortal. But due to improper treatment there is no assurance that one can exist for a longer of time. So the state has done an effective survey and then they came up with the massive step by which more number of people can be saved.
  • There are several people who are dying out of insufficient medicines but with this scheme the people could easily afford to have the medicines and thereby more number of people are going to get better treatment and thus the mortality can be reduced to a considerable amount.
  • Several pathologies are set up that helped the people to have the right treatment with better diagnose. The diagnoses also help the doctors to have the right treatment by the doctor and therefore the mistake with by the doctors is very less.
  • The scheme has allowed the government to come up with several camps that can help the people to have better treatment and it also allows the people to get the right treatment at the right time. The camps has also provide lot of awareness among the people thus people are getting the right knowledge and at the right time.

Conclusion

The scheme has been useful for the people of Punjab and it is believed that the mortality rate will be reduced to a considerable number.
